And here it is! Newly purchased Datsun
120Y is standing in the shade on its way to my garage. This picture was taken
roughly two years ago somewhere in Central Finland when I was driving it back
home. The trip went well, no issues. I was kind of surprised by that since
couple of times I was driving like a lunatic on the highway. It was quite peppy
for a 1200 cc four banger.
I decided to go for this low mileage
1974 LB210 two door sedan for a couple
of reasons. Firstly it was in an unbelievable good condition, secondly all of
my preconditions for the next car were met and thirdly this happy looking
orange little car needed a new home – and a good one.
Of course for an over 40 years old car,
there were some issues. Like an odd smell inside, some bad paint here and
there, broken front seats and noisy rear end. Really no big issues. More
